Had an amazing experience here. A brilliant 10 course chefs tasting menu tweaked to suit our dietary requirements. Absolutely delicious. Lovely cocktails too - I highly recommend the Pins Eastside. Front of house Leon was a great host as was our server Misha (sorry if I have the spelling wrong). Hats off to the chef! A little gem hidden just outside of Katoomba town centre. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Highly recommend for a special night out.

The barramundi, adorned with a Thai kaffir lime dressing, was the standout star of the evening. The restaurant's layout felt congested, with tables closely placed, diminishing the potential for an intimate dining experience. While the ambiance was elegant and sophisticated, the proximity of tables created a sense of overcrowding, affecting the overall comfort. Service was commendable, with attentive staff guiding the culinary journey seamlessly. The wine pairing complemented the dishes, enhancing the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Pins of Lurline excels in delivering a culinary adventure with dishes that showcase creativity and skill. The barramundi and scallops are not to be missed. Nevertheless, the closely placed tables may impact the overall dining ambiance, providing an area for improvement in the otherwise impressive fine dining establishment.

We enjoyed all 6 course dishes from the tasting menu. However, we were a little disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and connection when it came to service. Not what you would expect from a fine dining establishment, especially when you pay Sydney prices. I would recommend the owner/manager read Will Guidara’s book Unreasonable Hospitality.

Outstanding service and food! The staff and chef were so kind and accommodating for my food intolerance which is very extensive. It is very difficult for me to eat out or even eat at a friend's house. I take my own food. It really meant a lot to have an evening here with friends where I could really enjoy myself. I felt very taken care of by the chef and the staff were all so lovely in a genuine, authentic way. The food was outstanding! Thank you very much! I deeply appreciate it, it was a fantastic experience and memory for me and my friends.
